I spent years helping others manage their systems. Then I built the one I always wished existed.

I've always been a builder of things— before software, it was turntables, detail bays, and camera lenses.
Long before I wrote a line of code for a business platform, I was running my own. Mobile DJ, car detailing, photography — three businesses, three completely different operational worlds. Each one taught me the same lesson: the tools available to small business owners weren't built for them. They were built for enterprises that happened to sell down-market.
That friction became my career. I spent over a decade helping institutions — hospitals, county government, Apple — get their systems to actually work for the people using them. Turns out, the gap between what a system can do and what it does for you is exactly where I've always operated.
Three industries, three entirely different service models — and the same operational headache every time. Multiple platforms, no single source of truth, time spent managing tools instead of building the business. That pattern never left me.
HP / State of California — EHR Transition
Contracted as an IT software trainer assisting the California prison system in transitioning from paper records to Electronic Health Records. First large-scale systems migration experience.
Apple — Sales → Genius Bar → Genius
Started in sales, spent the majority of my tenure at the Genius Bar, and finished as a certified Genius for the final four years. Eight years of diagnosing complex problems under time pressure and communicating technical solutions to non-technical people.
KAWEAH Health — Service Desk
First-call resolution support for medical staff. High-stakes environment where system downtime has real consequences. Reinforced the connection between reliable infrastructure and the people who depend on it.
County of Tulare — IT Business Analyst → IT Project Manager
Served as the liaison between the IT department and county departments — translating business needs into technical requirements and back again. Managed county-wide projects, facilitated change management, coordinated vendor relationships, and contributed to strategic IT planning and budgeting. Final two years specialized in emerging technologies and enterprise analysis.
WordSmith Systems — Founder
Everything before this was preparation. Building the platform I always needed, for the business owners who need it now.
The question that started it all:
why am I keeping this to myself?
I built Cadence Creatures — a 3D-printed collectibles brand — and to run it properly, I had to build my own ops dashboard. Order queues, real-time inventory, P&L tracking, a drop launch engine, Discord integrations — custom-built because nothing off the shelf did what I actually needed.
Then I asked the obvious question: why should any of this stay proprietary? Every small business owner with a real operation and a real vision deserves infrastructure this solid. WordSmith Systems is the answer.
Single source of truth. Every aspect of your operations — orders, inventory, finances, customers, communications — in one place, purpose-built for your business.
Real-time decision intelligence. AI-assisted dashboards that surface what matters when it matters, so you can create instead of chase data.
You own your outcomes. WordSmith manages the infrastructure. Your data, your business, your growth — we just eliminate the friction.
Built from operator experience. Not a product designed by committee. Every module exists because a real business needed it.
I have a passion for helping others and finding new, out-of-the-box solutions. WordSmith is that passion made into a platform — freeing up time for creators to actually create, with real-time data for every decision that matters.

The Forge Scholarship
We offer an opt-in “Buy One, Gift One” scholarship model. Enterprise clients can choose to fund comprehensive digital transformations for local artisans and small businesses alongside their own projects.
When a sponsor opts in, they directly subsidize technological advancement in our local community. The Central Valley doesn't lack ambition — it lacks access. We're changing that.
